The Role

The Lloyd opens in Shifnal this summer. The kitchen runs at a high standard, and the Kitchen Porter is the reason it can. This is not a background role — it is a central one. A kitchen that does not run cleanly does not run well, and we take that seriously.

We are looking for someone reliable, hard-working, and genuinely invested in being part of a team that takes pride in everything it does.

What the Role Involves

You will keep the kitchen clean, organised, and functioning across all services — managing the wash station, maintaining equipment, supporting prep when needed, and ensuring the brigade can do their jobs without interruption. You will be on the ground floor during service, working alongside the kitchen team with a clear idea of what needs to happen and when.

What We Are Looking For

Experience in a professional kitchen is helpful but not essential. What matters more is reliability, the ability to work at pace without cutting corners, and a willingness to take ownership of your area. We will give you the right environment and the right team — we need you to bring the work ethic.
